FAQ

How are the trading systems calculated? Are the BUY and SELL arrows CLOSE (end of day) signals or are they OPEN (opening bell) signals?

At the moment Webotron stocks calculates end of day entry and exit signals. That means, if a BUY arrow appears, the trading system enters the trade at the CLOSE of the candlestick. So the best way to trade these signals is to buy the stocks “after hours” (some brokers offer this service). Or use the intraday quotes feature of Webotron Stocks (QuoteDownloader) to get the newest nearby prices (attention: 20+ minutes delay, depends on exchange).

BTW the next version of Webotron Stocks will give you the freedom to choose between the two calculation option.

Dario, what is your favorite Stock Trading System?

My favorite Stock Trading System you can find inside the EMA (Exponential Moving Average) System folder: “EMA No2(A3).s”. Try Oracle (ORCL) combined with this system.
